Our mission is to make America's financial system work for everyone.
And to make the American dream more affordable
An open letter
For much of the past generation, the cost of building a life in America has risen faster than many families can comfortably absorb.
Housing, healthcare, education, insurance, and everyday necessities have become increasingly expensive. In 2025, 58% of U.S. adults said changes in the prices they paid had made their financial situation worse, while 16% said they had not paid all of their bills in the previous month.
At the same time, the financial challenges facing the country are becoming harder, not easier. The federal government is projected to run a $1.9 trillion deficit in 2026, with debt held by the public projected to rise from 101% of GDP in 2026 to 120% by 2036 under current law.
The consequences are felt at the household level. People are working, raising families, starting businesses, and trying to build a future: with less room for mistakes, unexpected costs, and rising prices.
We believe people need better tools.
The systems that shape our financial lives have become extraordinarily complicated. Taxes, credits, benefits, incentives, insurance, and financial services are spread across thousands of rules, institutions, websites, and forms.
Finding out what you're entitled to, what you could save, and what opportunities you might be missing has increasingly become your responsibility.
It shouldn't be.
The technology that powers our financial lives should be working just as hard as we are.
Goodstead is building AI to do exactly that.
We deploy thousands of AI agents to work continuously on your behalf: finding refunds, lowering bills, uncovering savings, and identifying money you're owed.
Today, that starts with the things people pay for every day.
Tomorrow, it could mean understanding every benefit, incentive, opportunity, and obligation that applies to you- across federal, state, local, and private systems.
Our vision is simple:
A financial system that works for you, not the other way around.
You work hard for your money.
Goodstead works hard to help you keep more of it.
